Description:

The City of Eugene will be working on three areas of Coburg Road in 2013:

Between County Farm Road/Kinney Loop and Chad Drive, the pavement on Coburg Road will be rehabilitated by replacing the top layers of deteriorated pavement and removing sections of pavement that have completely failed. Sidewalk access ramps may be reconstructed at several locations.

Between Beltline Road and Willakenzie Road, the existing pavement will be rehabilitated  by replacing the top layers of deteriorated pavement and removing sections of pavement that have completely failed.

Between Beltline Road and Oakway Road, $100,000 in federal funding will be used for pedestrian and bicycle improvements. Sidewalk access ramps will be reconstructed at several locations. A green bike lane will be installed at Harlow Road with a “yield to bicycles” sign directed to cars turning right onto Harlow from northbound Coburg Road. Countdown signals will be installed for the pedestrian signals throughout the project, and audible pedestrian signals will be installed at Tandy Turn.
