Franklin/McVay Sanitary Sewer Extension (Project completed)

Description:

Extend sanitary sewer within S. Franklin Blvd./McVay Hwy for a distance of 4,000 feet south of the Franklin Blvd. McVay Hwy intersection (UHaul).  The installation of this line will allow for development and redevelopment in the area to be conducted in an environmentally responsible manner and facilitate the ability for current land owners to connect to the regional sewer system and annex into Springfield when they choose to do so.

Road Closure:

S. Franklin Blvd./McVay Hwy. from I-5 to the S. Franklin Blvd. McVay Hwy. intersection (UHaul) will be closed to thru traffic during construction.  Detours and business/residential access will be provided during the project.
