North Springfield 2017 Slurry Seal Project (VARIOUS ROADS in North Springfield in the Hayden Bridge Road area)

Construction Update - Week of Aug 25, 2017

Springfield:

Springfield Slurry Seal (Various locations): The following list of roads are scheduled to be closed to all vehicle traffic between 7:00 am and 6:00 pm on the dates noted below for each specific roadway.  Please note the specific schedule is subject to change.  Expect congestion and limited parking in the general area of the slurry seal operations. Notice will be given to residents and posted on the streets. The following list contains the current schedule of road closures relative to the slurry seal operations:

 

August 28, 2017 – Blossom Street, El Roble Avenue, Del Rio Street, El Camino Street, El Centro Avenue, Inland Way, Inland Way Cul-de-sac (all four locations), Kremont Avenue, Neptune Avenue, 35th Street, Valentine Court and Sue Ann Court.

Timeline:

Construction is anticipated to be between July 10 and September 4.

Traffic Impacts:

The work will restrict traffic during the application of the slurry and the curing
time required for the slurry. Roads will be closed for the slurry between 8:30 A.M. and 5:30 P.M. on the day work is scheduled. Advance notices will be distributed prior to road closure.

Work Schedule:

The project work schedule has not yet been developed but will occur between
July 10 and September 4.

This project is funded by the Lane County Road Fund.
