OR58: Black Canyon – Middle-Fork Willamette (MP 27.35-33.17)

Project Summary:

  • Pavement rehabilitation, signing, striping
  • New guardrail

Remarks: Project will begin August 6 and is scheduled to be completed in two weeks. The project will be done at night, 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. Sunday night through Friday morning. The work near Black Canyon Campground will be done in one day, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on August 17. Travelers should expect up to 20 minute delays from single lane closures in the construction area.

Description:

Oregon Department of Transportation is paving OR 58 between the Black Canyon Campground and Oakridge, mileposts 27.35 to 33.17. The project will install new guardrail and add rumble strips.

Timeline:

The project will be complete in fall 2017.

Traffic Impacts:

Travelers should expect up to 20 minute delays from single lane closures in the construction area. Work will be done at night, 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. Sunday night through Friday morning.

$1.9 million Statewide Transportation Improvement Program funds
