Description:

• This project is primarily intended to enhance bicycle connectivity in the northeast portion of Eugene.
• The City will be installing neighborhood greenway streets on Jeppesen Acres, Gay St, Chad Dr, Snelling Dr, Sarah Ln, Holly Ave, Westward Ho, Sunshine Acres, Randall St, Satre St, Bogart Ln and Willakenzie Rd.
• Project also includes enhanced crossings on Coburg Rd from Adkins to Jeppesen Acres, on Crescent Ave from Gay St to Sarah Ln, on Gilham Rd at Holly Ave, on Gilham from Jeppesen Acres to Minda Dr, and on Harlow Rd from Sunshine Acres to Randall St.

Traffic Impacts:

• Drivers should expect lane closures and lane shifts during construction.
• Pedestrians should expect sidewalk detours during the sidewalk ramp work at the
intersections.
• Bicyclists should expect to merge with motor vehicle traffic depending on available lane widths during construction.
• With any construction, drivers should expect equipment and workers in the roadway leading to congestion and delays during the work.

Work Schedule:

• This project is scheduled for construction in the summer of 2018.

Funding:

• The major source of funding is from the Oregon Department of Transportation through their Locally Delivered State Funded Project Program.
